Tuesday Teen Forest Adventures - Spring 2025
Who: Teens 14-17 years old
What: Survival, Connection, Earth Skills and Crafts with Chelsea Spitzer and Nico Piedrahita.
-collaborate to build a basecamp
-have a weekly rhythm of tending, crafting, building, planting and using their hands
-live with the land in this location for a season
PLUS games, activity, laughter, friends, outdoors, screen free, and MORE!
When: Tuesdays, 9:30-4 PM, March 25 - May 27 (with a break on April 15)
- 9 sessions total
Where: Asheville area forest with convenient central meetup at Earthfare Westgate
Tuition: Sliding Scale $470 - 585
Community Price (supported by your peers) - $470
Supporter Price (pays for you) - $530
Sustainer Price (helps pay it forward) - $585
Please pay as high on the scale as you are able based on your means. Payment plans and scholarships are possible, with a $100, non-refundable deposit.
Funds available to address reparations+Lifeways Back for Indigenous, Black, and People of Color/Global Majority.
High School Credits: This can be applied to credit hours in Earth Science, Physical Education and/or Emotional Intelligence+Interpersonal Communication. This includes weekly lectures and writing assignments.
Screen Free: Phones off and away all day!
