The program teens keep coming back for! Explore diverse and beautiful local trails and forests, with connection, naturalist adventures, ancestral skills, games, activity, physical challenge + more.
Winter/Spring 2025

The Details:
Who: Teens 14-17 years old
What: Core Connection, Naturalist Adventures, Hiking and Activity and More with Kerensa Bartlett and Luke Cannon*
When: Fridays, 9:30-4 PM, February 14 - May 30 (with a break on April 18)
- 15 sessions total
Where: Asheville area forests with convenient central carpool meetup at Earthfare Westgate
Tuition: Sliding Scale $795-975
Community Price (supported by your peers) - $795
Supporter Price (pays for you) - $900
Sustainer Price (helps pay it forward) - $975
Please pay as high on the scale as you are able based on your means.
Payment plans and scholarships are possible, with a $100, non-refundable deposit.
Funds available to address reparations+Lifeways Back for Indigenous, Black, and People of Color/Global Majority.
High School Credits: This can be applied to credit hours in Earth Science, Physical Education and/or Emotional Intelligence+Interpersonal Communication. This program includes weekly lectures and writing assignments.

*This program often includes hiking and agility. Hikes of several miles up and down moderately challenging trails are an important part of the curriculum.
Tuesday Teen Forest Adventures

Spring 2025 ~ Go deep at our forest basecamp with connection, survival + ancestral skills, wild tending, art + crafts, games + more ~ with Chelsea Spitzer + Nico Piedrahita.
Who: Teens 14-17 years old
What: Survival, Connection, Earth Skills and Crafts with Chelsea Spitzer and Nico Piedrahita.
-collaborate to build a basecamp
-have a weekly rhythm of tending, crafting, building, planting and using their hands
-live with the land in this location for a season
PLUS games, activity, laughter, friends, outdoors, screen free, and MORE!
When: Tuesdays, 9:30-4 PM, March 25 - May 27 (with a break on April 15)
- 9 sessions total
